What are we studying?

We are studying a book by D.A. Carson entitled The God Who is There. The focus of our study is to understand what the Bible says about God. Christians hold that the God of the Bible is the God who is there, and in this study we invite both Christians and nonbelievers to see what the Bible says about this God. We will look at who God is and the implications for what this says about the world.

Come and join us for our next study on Wednesday, April 13 from 6:30 to 8 PM. We will meet at 9257 Amsden Way in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Our time together will be spent in fellowship and discussion about God's will for our lives as we study the Ten Commandments in Exodus 20.

About Us

We are a group of Christians meeting together in Eden Prairie for Bible Study and fellowship. We are discussing what the Bible says about the Triune God of the universe: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We seek to encourage each other in the Christian faith in order to better understand what we believe and why we believe it.

We are under the oversight of Redeemer Reformed Church in Golden Valley. It is our prayer that out of this Bible Study a new Confessional Reformed Church will begin in the south metro of the Twin Cities.

What We Believe

We are a Christian Church that believes in the Bible. We hold fast to "the faith that was once and for all delivered to the saints" (Jude 3). We confess and believe all that is taught in the Old and New Testaments, which are the inspired, inerrant, and infallible word of God. We summarize Scriptural teaching regarding the holy Trinity and Christ in the Ancient Ecumenical Creeds. We also confess the Three Forms of Unity. We confess to believe that these creeds and confessions are biblical; that is, they are faithful summaries of the teaching of Scripture.

We believe the Bible teaches us that we are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in the perfect righteousness of Christ alone, to the glory of God alone. As a historic, Confessional Reformed church, we trace our heritage from the Apostles through the ancient church to the Protestant Reformation.

What is your only comfort in life and in death?

That I, with body and soul, both in life and in death, am not my own, but belong to my faithful Savior Jesus Christ, who with his precious blood has fully satisfied for all my sins, and redeemed me from all the power of the devil; and so preserves me that without the will of my Father in heaven not a hair can fall from my head; indeed, that all things must work together for my salvation. Wherefore, by His Holy Spirit, He also assures me of eternal life, and makes me heartily willing and ready from now on to live unto Him.

About Me

Ryan Kron

I grew up in a Christian home in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. I majored in Bible and Theology at Wheaton College, and then I spent two years studying under John Piper at The Bethlehem Institute in Minneapolis.

I received my Masters of Divinity degree at Westminster Seminary in California in 2006 where I studied under men such as W. Robert Godfrey and Michael Horton. From 2006 to 2010 I served as an Associate Pastor at Cloverdale United Reformed Church in Boise, ID.

In November 2010, I moved back to the Twin Cities with my wife, Colleen, and our infant son, Isaiah. I am currently serving as the Mission Work Pastor at Redeemer Reformed Church. My prayer is that God would use me to help build his church in the south metro area in the Twin Cities.
